Cover that pays when you need it, not cover that merely looks reassuring

Most policies fail their owner at claim time for reasons that were visible on the day of purchase. We read those terms out before you buy.

Life & Term Cover

The first question is not which policy. It is how much cover your family would actually need, and for how long.

We size it from your outstanding liabilities, your dependants’ years to independence, and the income that would have to be replaced. The number is usually larger than people expect — and a pure term plan is usually how to reach it affordably.

  • Term plans compared on claim-settlement ratio, not just premium
  • Riders assessed individually — several are not worth their cost
  • Guaranteed-return and ULIP options shown with real post-charge returns
  • Full disclosure at proposal, so claims are not contestable later

An honest word on ULIPs

A unit-linked plan bundles insurance with investment. That bundle suits a minority of people and is sold to a great many more, because it pays the distributor considerably better than term cover does.

For most households, a term plan plus a separate mutual fund is cheaper, more transparent and easier to exit. We say this knowing it reduces our own commission.

Where a ULIP genuinely fits — a long horizon, a need for the tax treatment, and no intention of surrendering early — we will show you the post-charge numbers and let you decide.

What we check before recommending

  • Room-rent capping — the most common cause of a reduced payout
  • Disease-wise sub-limits and co-payment clauses
  • Waiting periods for pre-existing and specified conditions
  • Restoration benefit and no-claim bonus mechanics
  • Cashless hospital network near where you actually live

Health Insurance

A policy with a room-rent cap can cut a claim by forty per cent, and almost nobody is told that at the point of sale.

Here is how it works: if your policy caps the room at 1% of sum insured and you take a room above it, the insurer reduces every associated cost proportionately — surgeon, anaesthetist, investigations, the lot. The shortfall is yours.

We arrange individual, family floater, super top-up and senior-citizen cover, and we will review a policy you already hold without any obligation to switch.
